My daughters and I were thrilled to have the opportunity to speak with CTV’s Leanne Cusack today!
We were on the ‘News at Noon’ show to discuss some simple, affordable and fun ways to keep busy over March break. The kids and I talked about our indoor gardening projects and the idea of hosting a beach party (for those of us who can’t afford the real thing!).
A big thank you to the very warm and lovely Leanne – for putting my nerves at ease and letting the kids have such a great experience. You can watch our short video here.
Green Goddess Gwen.
Whether it’s hangin’ with Mickey or making the world a little greener, Gwen Leron is your girl.
Congratulations to Contributing Blogger Gwen Leron, who is now the official ‘Green Goddess’ for the Yummy Mummy Club. In her debut post, Gwen writes about how she will present “ideas on how you can be more green around your home, info about cool eco-companies, hot eco news, info on ingredients to avoid and so, so much more.”
Gwen doesn’t just “talk the talk,” she is all about implementing positive and healthy changes in everyday life. After all, that’s what prompted her to start her own online store – Nayla Natural Care – which offers organic and chemical-free products for families.
Fittingly, her latest post tackles the pros and cons of having a real or an artificial Christmas tree. Check it out – and green it up with Gwen!
Last month, I was surprised and honoured to be recognized by Multiple Births Canada for two feature articles that I authored for the Ottawa Citizen. The articles, Multiple expectations and When it’s not a happy ending, were published in March 2012.
